LAB Quality*
is a Danish based – internationally experienced - company offering training
and consultancy services to analytical and clinical laboratories on
subjects mainly within the area of QA and related topics.
* To avoid confusion it should be emphasized that LAB Quality must be distinguished from the Finnish organisation Labquality , who is offering proficiency testing programmes etc. to clinical laboratories!
LAB Quality is run by Chemical Engineer Lorens P. Sibbesen who has more than 15 years of experience with quality assurance and quality management in analytical laboratories (establishing and implementing quality systems, being quality manager of accredited laboratories, running quality audits, consultancy on quality issues etc. etc.). Lorens P. Sibbesen has a comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, its interpretation and implementation in relation to accreditation of analytical labortories.
Furthermore
Lorens P. Sibbesen has a lifetime of experience in planning and performing
education and supplementary training for laboratories (engineers, pharmacists,
chemists, doctors, laboratory technicians, etc.).
This knowledge and experience is currently kept up to date in contact
with laboratories and authorities, participation in relevant conferences and
workshops and study of new standards and guidelines and their implementation.
LAB Quality has contact to a number of experts in Denmark and internationally which always gives the possibility of meeting and solving specific problems in the analytical and clinical laboratories.

Alle courses consists of a suitable mixture of presentations (based on

In-service training courses laboratories
Most of the subjects dealt with in the regular short courses can with
advantage for your laboratory be incorporated in an in-house training course
taking into account your special needs and wishes as regards the content and
schedule of the course. If
convenient there may also be elements of e-learning in such a course.
LAB Quality has also found it very satisfactory and challenging to comply with special needs not normally covered by our experience (e.g. subjects as rheology, measurement of pH, GC and GC-MS analysis etc.).
LAB Quality
has a widespread network to experts within analytical techniques and skills and
is therefore capable of establishing special courses.

Seminars
LAB Quality
arranges full- or part-time seminars for groups with a need for an exhaustive
briefing on a defined subject. These subjects are solely determined by the

LAB Quality

a thorough knowledge on quality assurance issues and more than 12 years
experience in establishing, implementing and further developing quality sy-stems in

Outsourcing services
LAB Quality
can take over some of the quality assurance functions in your laboratory:
quality manager, auditor in internal audits etc. In many laboratories these mandatory functions are too
resource demanding to be fit into the daily workschedule and on the other hand
not extensive enough to call for an extra full time job. The solution might be outsourcing of these functions!
